Xbox Game Pass has announced the first batch of games being added to the Xbox and PC subscription service for the month of August 2019.

- Ashes Cricket (Xbox) – August 1
- Pandemic (Xbox) – August 1
- Downwell (PC) – August 1
- Jackbox Party Pack 2 (Xbox) – August 8
- Space Hulk Tactics (PC) – August 8
- Slay The Spire (Xbox) – August 14
Although this first batch of games isn’t full of blockbuster titles, there are a couple that I wouldn’t mind checking out. I am a sucker for the punishment that rogue-likes dish out, so Slay The Spire seems like it may be a good fit. Pandemic is a great tabletop game, and I’m interested to see how it translates to Xbox. I have heard good things about Space Hulk Tactics and am looking forward to giving it a try on PC.
