The second season of Netflix’s surprise hit The Umbrella Academy released on July 31, 2020. It’s a worthy follow up to the first season even if there were a few familiar notes. There will be mild early season spoilers as well as spoilers for Season 1, so let’s get to it.

As we all endure the current global situation on our hands, there is no better time to binge on a good Netflix series. Join me as I take you through a few of my top picks.

Take a look as Anthony Mackie stars as Takeshi Kovacs in Season 2 of Altered Carbon. Season 2 is set to release on Netflix on February 27.

My introduction to The Witcher franchise came in the form of the 2015 masterpiece, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I bought it on sale during the Winter Sale on Xbox, and like all the other RPGs that live in the depths of my soul forevermore, Witcher 3 nestled in there nicely. When Netflix announced it was making a television adaption, my heart leaped. After months of casting announcements, pressers, an...

Vince Gilligan has brought us back into the Breaking Bad universe with El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. The movie takes place directly after the events of the main series and focuses on Jesse Pinkman as he deals with the aftermath of Breaking Bad. Spoiler Note: I will try to not spoil anything from the movie, but spoilers from the original series are fair game.

The Duffer Brothers’ show, Stranger Things, is an instant classic. If you have been under a rock for the last few years and have not heard, this show is chock-full of pop culture references and throwbacks to the late seventies and early eighties. That is not to mention the show is set to epic scores and soundtracks that bring home the nostalgia. The soundtrack can be enjoyed at Spotify’s official ...

We are going back to the world of Breaking Bad with a new movie focused on Walter White’s assistant Jesse Pinkman, which releases on October 11, 2019. Netflix released a short teaser that doesn’t show much but did let us know that Jesse is on the run. Breaking Bad is one of my favorite shows and I can’t wait to dive back into the world.

It doesn’t get much simpler than the mantra “We Must be Strong and We Must be Brave.” When it comes to Netflix’s reboot of the 1980’s “She-Ra”, there is a lot of bravery and a lot of strength to go around. The 2018 adaption entitled “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” is home to a palette of bright colors, fun animation, and most importantly strong, brave, fun characters. The show is certainly ai...

The Duffer Brothers and Netflix have struck gold with Stranger Things. I cannot overstate how much I enjoy this show. It is phenomenal. The first season was an instant classic. I do not tend to rewatch tv shows. Yet I have watched seasons 1 & 2 multiple times. Now I find myself rewatching season 3.

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming series, The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. The show is based on the best-selling books by Andrzej Sapkowski. The books are also the inspiration for CD Projekt Red’s Witcher series of games. The show is expected to release later this year.

Review – Iron Fist Season 2 Improves on the Formula & Supporting Cast

Season 2 of Iron Fist was an improvement in many ways from its previous season. I felt more attached to the characters (I feel for you, Ward), felt more of the drama, and loved the Kung Fu fight scenes. Season 2 is ten episodes long, but honestly I think they could have told the whole story in 8 episodes. It makes sense later on why some scenes in earlier episodes felt a little drawn out, but over...
