Unreal Engine 5 on Series X
During the recent Unreal Engine 5 demo, Geoff Keighley had several key players from Epic on hand to discuss the impressive tech. This discussion was chock full of PS5 flag-waving with little to no mention of Xbox Series X. This had some people wondering how compatible the new engine would be with Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen console. Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games confirmed on twitter that both Nanite and Lumen technologies will work on both platforms.
The Unreal Engine 5 demo on PlayStation 5 was the culmination of years of discussions between Sony and Epic on future graphics and storage architectures.
The Nanite and Lumen tech powering it will be fully supported on both PS5 and Xbox Series X and will be awesome on both.

Halo Infinite Confirmed for July Series X Event
In a blog post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries has confirmed that Halo Infinite will be one of the games featured in July’s Xbox 20/20 Event.
You may have seen people talking about this lightly before, but we’re extremely excited to confirm that Halo Infinite will be one of many first-party titles included in the Xbox 20/20 event in July. Get ready.
New Phone, Who Dis?
Warzone cheaters beware! Activision’s latest anti-cheat measure has dealt a serious blow to cheaters who simply create another free account after being banned. Account generation now requires SMS authentication via a mobile device to activate it. This means that in order to create a new account, banned users will also need a new phone number to activate it. Although this measure will not stop cheating altogether, I’m sure it will greatly reduce it.
Minecraft developer Mojang has announced that it is now Mojang Studios, a worldwide group of studios that are working on a feature film, live series and more game ideas.
