PAX South 2020 – Glorious PC Gaming Race

Articles Events News

During PAX South 2020 I was given the chance to chat with some of the team over at Glorious PC Gaming Race’s booth. It was interesting to see something that started as a brainchild of the subreddit that shares its name come so far in the world of PC peripherals.

Who is the GPGR

While talking at the booth I found out that the Glorious PC Gaming Race was conceived by passionate PC gamers. These gamers were fed up with the low-quality, over-priced gaming products that delivered more flash than function offered by bigger companies. Their mission became to create unique gaming accessories, engineered for premium quality and elite-level performance, sold at affordable prices. Starting in 2014 with award-winning mousepads, they now offer keyboards and mice as well.

The Products

I was able to play with several of the products while at the show. Some of the standouts being the Glorious Model O mouse and the Glorious GMMK, both are pictured above. I will say that the quality of the products is amazing. The mice are incredibly light when holding them which goes against the heavier mice you find offered by many companies. It was easy to hold onto and flick around. The ability to program the LEDs right on the mouse with the click of a button is a nice touch as well. When looking at the honeycomb holes in the mouse you would think that a spill would be the end of everything inside but they are coating to protect them from that. The keyboard was ultra customizable from the ability to change key switches on the fly to being able to program the color of each key individually.
