Ninja is at it again, making waves in the gaming community with another big announcement. The Twitch-gone-Mixer sensation has partnered with Adidas for what is sure to be some amazing clothing and accessory swag. This is only a small glimpse of the continuation of Ninja’s announcements and growth we will see over the next year or so, and his success continues to be a positive influence for gamers everywhere.

Earlier in August, Ninja made the move from Twitch to Mixer. It was a pretty shocking and risky move, but it seems to have panned out for both Ninja and Mixer. The announcements didn’t stop there. Days later his toy and collectible line(s) released at Target, his book and related materials released at Barnes and Noble and beyond, and yesterday he announced his partnership with one of the most popular brands in the world, Adidas. This makes him the first professional gamer to sign with the company to date. The official press release states that the partnership was cultivated from the idea that “There’s never been a better time to blur the lines between the cultures of gaming and fashion”.

Ninja continues to not only raise his bar but the bar for gaming, which is a really good thing. He is showing the world that gaming is a legitimate career path for those willing to put in the work. He is making gaming more ubiquitous among topics regarding viable careers. Ninja’s success is a win for all gamers looking to grow their brand, find a community, and feel supported by those less knowledgeable about gaming.

At this time there has been no information regarding Ninja x Adidas items for sale, however, Ninja has his own page on the Adidas site already. Both Ninja and Adidas can be found on social media for real-time announcements on Twitter and Instagram.

I'm a thirty-something fangirl with a lot of feelings to share!
