Each week, independent developers release games to the Xbox One through the ID@Xbox program. The program allows developers to self-publish digital games on the Xbox One and Windows 10 with Xbox Live. It’s an awesome program that has brought some really fun and innovative games to Xbox.

This week, the ID@Xbox program brings several new games to the Xbox One. As usual, these games offer a variety of game play. We have a co-op puzzle game, a twin stick RPG shooter, a 1st person interactive story, and more!  See below for complete descriptions, pricing information, trailers, and links to purchase these games digitally on Xbox One. You can also watch them streamed live on the ID@Xbox Beam channel. ID@Xbox Community Manager Jill Conto (GT: AhJILLity) streams new ID@Xbox games every Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday @ 5pm Eastern Time. Death Squared

Death Squared is a cooperative puzzle game for 1, 2 or 4 players, best enjoyed with loved ones who don’t mind a little arguing for the greater good. Prove your teamwork skills in Death Squared as you solve puzzles together or die trying! Each player needs to guide a robot to a colour-coded goal, but the path is beset with deadly traps and hazards. Teams of players will need close observation and communication to keep each other alive and discover a solution together. Complete the main campaign in single player or with two players, then take a group into four-player Party Mode for the ultimate teamwork trial! For those that can’t get enough, head to the ‘Vault’ to find extra experiments recommended only for the brave.

Kona

Hamilton, a rich industrialist who owns a hunting manor in Northern Canada, reports several cases of vandalism perpetrated against his property. Unable to find out who dared to commit these acts, Hamilton calls Carl Faubert, a renowned private detective to handle the affair. In Kona, Carl becomes trapped up in the deep north, engulfed in an unexpected snowstorm. The player incarnates detective Faubert, who must shed light on the mysterious events befalling the area.
