We came across a group of guys wearing some sweet jerseys at the Coatsink software booth at PAX South. On display were two games Coatsink is publishing on the Nintendo Switch. We got an interview with Bren King from PHL Collective, and he told us all about Clusterpuck 99.
Clusterpuck 99
Clusterpuck 99 is a competitive multiplayer, simple hockey-style game with several different arenas that have spikes, ledges, and other obstacles to really heat things up. This game looks perfect for the Switch since you can use single joycons to have up to eight players in 4v4 matches on one console. Check out the trailer for Clusterpuck 99 on the Switch here.
Shu
Shu is Coatsink’s other game that I am very excited for. Coming to the Switch on January 23rd, Shu is a beautifully hand-drawn side-scrolling platformer that has you saving the world from being devoured by an ominous dark storm. We also talked to Brian Gitlin to hear about some of the inspiration for the game. Check out the trailer for Shu here.
