The last few days have left gaming riddled with news from Microsoft on the upcoming new generation of its popular Xbox series. With console announcements, launch titles, and subscription details, Microsoft is setting a high bar for its competitors. November 10, 2020, is right around the corner, so let’s take a look at what details we have now that the big announcements are here.

September is here and with that comes the season of gaming releases. One game that I’ve had my eye on since E3 2019 has been Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers: a cooperative action-looter set in the Marvel Universe that stars some of our favorite Superheroes. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity by MHG and Square Enix to check it out during its early access ...

Recently I was given access to an early build of Endzone – A World Apart by Gentlymad Studios. The post-apocalyptic take on a City Building game is a great twist to the genre. Join me as I go over what I think so far.

When I first got my hands on EVERSPACE 2 at PAX South earlier this year, I had an absolute blast – but I did terribly. Blame it on the crowds, the pressure of your Mulehorn Gaming peers standing over your shoulder, the fact that I’m completely inept with a keyboard and mouse combo…but regardless the game was beautiful and I had a great time with it. Now, months later ROCKFISH Games has been genero...

In the early morning hours on Friday, 7/10/20, it was reported that the Hong Kong PlayStation Store had leaked the next installment of the Ubisoft Series “Far Cry.” Many had previously speculated that an announcement for Far Cry 6 would make an appearance at this weekend’s Ubisoft Forward presser. The leak was then confirmed hours later by a Tweet from the official Far Cry Twitte...

The Waylanders is an upcoming RPG that Mulehorn Gaming was given early access to by the developers at Gato Studio. I’ve played a bit of the game and think that this title has an opportunity to garner a decent player base. There’s opportunity for character creation, character race and class, and specialized combat – three pieces that warm any RPG fan’s heart.

Making a comeback from the original, but now to consoles too, Desperados 3 is taking me on a wild ride involving Cowboys in a strategic wild west world. Saddle up and get ready for my first thoughts on the game.

Way back in middle school, our class was given a catalog for one of those book fairs and as I browsed, I saw a computer game that was for sale. Eager to try out our family’s fancy new computer with Windows 95 and our first-ever CD-ROM drive, I ordered a game called Command & Conquer Red Alert. When it arrived, I spent all night playing it, and was too “sick” to go to school the following day –...

Summer jumps into full swing for comics with a heatwave in June! Drugs, vampires, Punk rock, and a sober protagonist from rising Indie favorite Frank Gogol. Dark Nights is back with DEATH METAL! The biggest heist for Black Cat to date, her mark is none other than Tony Stark!

Since its reveal at E3 2019, people have been anxiously waiting to play Mojang’s Minecraft Dungeons. While that wait ends soon, I had the opportunity to jump into the beta earlier this year to experience it for myself. Let’s take a look at what we may expect from the full release.

The Playstation’s State of Play focused on its upcoming exclusive title, “Ghost of Tsushima.” The preview highlighted open-world gameplay, combat styles, RPG elements, and ways for players to immerse themselves into the Island of Tsushima. I watched the preview and have some thoughts on the information received today.

A New Entry to a Cult Classic If you owned or played a SEGA Genesis in the 1990s, there is a good chance you were exposed to SEGA’s iconic Beat-Em-Up franchise, Streets of Rage. Also known as “Bare Knuckle” in Japan, Streets of Rage had three releases between 1991 and 1994 where one or two players could play as one of a few crime-fighting vigilantes on the side-scrolling streets of Wood Oak City. ...
