Super Mario Odyssey Recap Trailer

Miss any of the Super Mario Odyssey info from previous trailers and Nintendo Directs? Nintendo put out a 5 minute recap trailer for Odyssey with all the info that had previously been announced. They also showcased a 2-player mode where one player controls Mario and the other controls Mario’s new companion, Cappy. They also showed an Assist mode that can be used by players new to the series.

Switch Production Being Increased for Holiday Season

Nintendo announced that they were planning to increase the Switch’s production to 2 million units per month. Increasing to 2 million from what, however, no one is really sure. Nintendo’s original plan was to ship 10 million units in the first fiscal year. Either way, this is great news for consumers looking to pick up that Nintendo Switch for the Holidays.

Darkest Dungeon Announced for the Switch

Last week, Darkest Dungeon creators Red Hook Studios announced that they were working on bringing the indie dungeon crawler to the Switch. They made the announcement in a very clever way via the Darkest Dungeon Twitter account. Check it out:

Dark Horse takes on ‘Arms’ Graphic Novel

Dark Horse comics announced that in Fall of 2018, they’d be publishing an ‘Arms’ graphic novel.

There is no news on who the creative team behind the Novel would be, though the announcement image showed off illustrations by Joe Ng who has done work on many Capcom-themed titles for Dark horse as well as Overwatch and Red Sonja.

Roguelike ‘Tangledeep’ Coming to Switch in 2018

Impact Gameworks’ Tangledeep is headed to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2018. The dungeon-crawling roguelike is already available on Steam Early access and has been noted as being a “love letter to the Golden Age of RPGs”.

Kickstarter RPG on the Road to the Switch

Kingdom Hearts-inspired RPG ‘Destiny Chronicles’ is slated to come to the PS4 and now the Nintendo Switch. The Action RPG is currently still in its Kickstarter Campaign, but the developers have added the Switch to the list of consoles the game will release on should the Kickstarter succeed.
