After a year off, we have our first glimpse of the return of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Ubisoft has taken fan feedback, especially after the shortcomings of Unity, and taken some additional time to make sure the new installment in the series is committed to making Assassin’s Creed the open world game it was meant to be.
The new title is reported to be called Origins and has been corroborated by Eurogamer. The new game has a loose release date of Fall 2017. Ubisoft said that they would not be releasing a game in the series in 2016 in order to “give the brand a new dimension.” Here’s to hoping the the game gets back to what it used to be.
