Hands-On Impression of Semispheres (PAX South)

Interview with Vivid Helix

Attending PAX South gave me the opportunity to meet Radu Muresan, the creator of a new game called Semispheres. Radu took the time to talk to me about his new game.

So, What’s Happening?

As you can see, Semispheres is a new stealth puzzle game that puts you in control of two different characters. Each control stick will give you command over a different one of the characters. Your goal is to move your orbs towards a hole at the end of each level. However, there are different objectives in your way. Sentries will try and follow your orb to stop it. You will use the different abilities that are placed around the stage to avoid the enemies and complete the levels. Devising a plan, as well as execution, is an extremely important aspect of the game. Take the time to look around the board and find your path.

Semispheres will debut on February 14, 2017 on Steam and PlayStation 4. There are plans to have it release on Xbox One in Q2 of this year. If you enjoy puzzle games, then definitely take the time to give Semispheres a chance. We will be giving this title a closer look once it’s released, so stay tuned!
